MY PHILOSOPHY AS A TRAINER AND INSTRUCTOR
My motto as a trainer and instructor is "PRECISION THROUGH PATIENCE." Dressage is about precision, in the horse as well as the rider. Patience is the key to working with them individually and as a team. I believe in the importance of taking the necessary time to develop a strong foundation in the horse's basic training. Once the groundwork is laid, the advanced training will continue more easily. The quality of the gaits are more important then just riding the movements. Only when the horse's gaits are correctly developed can the movements be ridden correctly and are fun for both horse and rider. |
Whether you choose to compete or not is an individual choice. I personally enjoy the challenge of competition and assisting my clients to compete. For me winning is fun, but that is not as important as knowing that my horse has given me one hundred percent and that my students are progressing toward meeting their short and long-term goals.
