
Horses have been a passion for Gayle Smith since early childhood.
She started riding at the age of seven and began her career in dressage at age 10.
In 1993 Gayle rode as a member of the USDF Young Rider Team, winners that year of the silver medal. After her success with Young Riders, Willy Arts offered Gayle the opportunity to be a working student at DG Bar Ranch. Willy is known internationally for his expertise in all phases of dressage training. After that intensive year, Gayle made the decision to become a professional. Since then she has continued her dedication to become the outstanding rider, trainer, and instructor that she is today. Gayle has trained many horses and riders that have distinguished themselves in local, regional and national competition.

One of Gayle’s main goals is to facilitate a strong, successful partnership between horse and rider. She will structure for you an individualized training program that will assist you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself and your horse.
